The Watch’s apps will be downloaded via the iPhone. When it comes to battery life, Apple promises an 18 hour service for an average user.
Its stand-alone features include the ability to keep a track of the user’s activity and fitness, make payments using Apple Pay, and play music that has been already downloaded to the Watch. News on the Watch’s memory capacity is still missing.
The Smartwatch will have a simultaneous launch in the UK, China, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Germany and France. The Apple Watch will face competition mainly from Samsung’s Tizen collection and Google’s Android Wear.
Come April, users will be able to take a bite from this Apple product with the company taking preorders from April 10 and shipping starting from April 24.
